Midwestern Mac, LLC has built and helped improve many native iOS (iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch) and Android apps, and can help others with their apps, on a very limited basis. We don’t just want to have an app you like, or one that just gets the job done—we want to make an app that feels great to use, and helps make people’s lives better. We develop using native code and Apple’s or Google’s guidelines for human interfaces and code styles. This means our apps will perform well, be easy to use, and work across a wide variety of devices.

Catholic STL was developed in tandem with the Office of Web Development in the Archdiocese of St. Louis. The app allows St. Louis area Catholics to find parishes on a map, search for parishes by name or around a location, read and share news from the Archdiocese, and read and submit prayer requests to the Archdiocesan website.
Catholic News Live retrieves the latest news stories that are aggregated by the Catholic News Live website (using the ManagingNews Drupal distribution), and displays them in a list view and on a map. Stories can be viewed on their original websites in a web view, and the links can be shared via many different social services, including Facebook and Twitter.
